"Building Hybrid Applications with D-Wave”
Video recording: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9xEuSu_Q2Y
Abstract from Victoria:
D-Wave’s Ocean SDK and Leap cloud platform include quantum-classical hybrid tools for building applications to solve real-world problems. These tools and hybrid solvers allow users to build solutions to optimize problems with binary, discrete, and integer variables in both constrained and unconstrained models. In this seminar, we’ll give an overview of what hybrid tools are available to Leap users and how to build a constrained quadratic model for a realistic problem. Attendees should be familiar with Leap and Ocean, either first-hand or via the previous D-Wave seminar sessions.
BIO: Dr. Victoria Horan Goliber, Senior Technical Analyst, joined D-Wave Systems in 2018 after working as a Research Mathematician for the US Air Force. In her current role, Dr. Goliber works with teams around the world to bring quantum annealing to a variety of groups through seminars, workshops, and conferences. She received her Ph.D. in discrete mathematics from Arizona State University through the U.S. Department of Defense Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship Program, and more recently completed a MS degree in computer science with a specialization in machine learning through Georgia Tech University.
This meeting is organized by the Quantum AI Foundation.
